Overview:
Our Self-Contained Gravity Fed Portable Safety Shower & Eyewash Station 1500L unit is designed for maximum safety and compliance with AS4775 standards, ensuring reliable performance in emergency situations. With robust construction and versatile power options, this unit is perfect for a variety of industrial settings.
The emergency shower can supply 89.3 L/min of water, resulting in 1340L in 15 minutes. The tank size is 1500L and thus adequate to supply water for a full 15 minutes
The emergency eyewash can supply 8.2L/min of water. The standard requires 1.5L/min of water minimum for an eyewash, and 11.4 L/min for a facewash. As a result, the design complies to be an eyewash (but cannot be certified as complying to be a facewash station as well). Scope for future certification to conform to the entirety of the standard (inclusive of the facewash) exists, providing the flow rate of the eyewash station can be increased, whilst not altering the flow stream of the current eyewash
