Inflatable Rubber Oil Containment Boom-SDWQJ1500
The inflatable rubber boom is specially developed for the containment of oil floating on the surface of water. It is suitable for use in most harbors, terminals, and sheltered coastal areas. Shifting in response to an emergency, its main accessories include a power station, an inflator, a tractor, a reel frame, and a container. It has been selected by many offshore oil spill response organizations due to its durability, sea keeping, ease of maintenance, and stability under tow.
Features:
- The Inflatable Rubber Boom’s framework is made of the double layer, high strength nylon canvas coated with the oil resistant, ageing resistant, high quality synthetic rubber.
- The unique air valve design allows for easy and speedy inflation and perfect air tightness.
- Stiffeners are arranged between chambers to make the boom quite stiff to effectively prevent waves from overtopping.
- The boom is equipped with yellow stripes and reflectors for improved visibility.
- The ballast chain is a hot-dip galvanized steel chain that gives strength, correct and stable deployment in sweeping operations, and facilitates excellent sea-keeping properties.
- It can be supplied with such accessories as a boom tractor, trail rope and anchor block according to the customers’ order.
